Summer Reading

Summer HeroesSummer is coming quickly and we are getting so excited for Summer Reading.

Click Here To Sign Up For Summer Reading

Mark your calendars for Saturday, May 30th from 11am to 1pm.  We’re closing the street in front of the Troy library for a Superhero Summer Kick-off Carnival.  Play carnival games, enter to win great prizes, and get a chance to sign up for summer reading to win even more.  We’ve invited local heroes from the community, so police, fire, and emergency services heroes will be there with their vehicles for you to check out.  Come hungry, since we’ll be serving a free lunch of hotdog, chips, and a drink.

Knitting/Crocheting Circle

The Highland library is starting a knitting/crocheting circle. The first official meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 28th at 6pm and they will meet on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month. If you already know how to crochet or knit, this would be a great social opportunity to gab and knit. If you don’t know how to crochet or knit, come and learn how from someone more experienced at it. Bring a crochet hook or knitting needles and we’ll provide the first skein of yarn to get you started on your project.
