Library District 1 offers wireless networking to visitors at all locations
FREE of charge.
This service connects your laptop or other wireless-enabled device to the Internet through the Library’s Hotspot Access.
To access the Internet, simply launch your web browser, Click on the Continue to the Internet button on the Library webpage and begin surfing.
Laptops And Hotspots Available For Checkout
Borrowers must have a valid Library District 1 account at time of checkout.
The Library account holder must be 18 years of age or older to checkout a laptop on their card.
The Library District account holder must read, understand, and sign this agreement at the time of each laptop/hotspot check out.
Laptops/hotspot cannot be reserved/held or renewed.
Laptops/hotspot may only be checked out for 3 days at a time.
Laptop/hotspot and charging cord must be returned to the same location from where it was checked out.
Laptops/hotspot should not be returned in the book drop for any reason. Borrowers will be billed for resulting damage to the laptop and charging cord and may be denied future laptop checkout.
Laptops will be restored to their original condition after every reboot; it is the responsibility of the user to save their files and information.
- Customers will be fined if the laptop/hotspot is not returned. Fines will accrue daily till returned.
